Fit and groovy seniors!
Chorus is a not-for-profit organisation offering support to seniors, people on their mental health recovery journey, and those living with a disability.
We can see that it does improve their social and emotional well-being and they look forward to it every month

The Kwinana-based group offers a range of services including help at home, transportation and organised events promoting community connections. Chorus' dance class initiave offers a great opportunity for seniors to mingle and move their bodies in a low impact and friendly environment, held at local community centres.
Thanks to your Lotto ticket, a Lotterywest grant of $198,450 is helping Chorus develop a training package to strengthen their aged care, disability and mental health services. That's the Ticket!
In 2022, Lotterywest contributed over $500,000 towards an Innovation Lab to test and assess changes in community service models which achieve improved social connectedness. “We can see that it does improve their social and emotional well-being and they look forward to it every month,” said Angela, part of the Chorus team.
